Property managers deserve better tools
LatchDesk exists because property management is still run on phone calls, sticky notes, and overflowing inboxes. We're building the operations layer that should have existed years ago.
The problem we saw
Property managers are expected to be available 24/7. The leaking faucet at 11pm, the prospective tenant who messaged at 6am, the vendor running late — all of it lands in the same inbox.
Every missed response costs money. Slow replies lose leads to competitors. Delayed maintenance turns into emergency repairs. Frustrated tenants stop renewing.
Existing tools track data but don't take action. The best property managers are great at decisions — but they're buried under coordination work that a machine should be doing.
What we believe
AI should handle coordination, not decisions
The machine routes, schedules, and follows up. You decide what matters.
Response speed is a competitive advantage
The property that responds first wins the tenant. Minutes matter.
Transparency builds trust
You should always see what the AI did and why. Every action logged, every decision auditable.
Small operators deserve enterprise tools
You shouldn't need 1,000 units to afford intelligent operations.
Where we're going
We started with maintenance and leasing — the two areas where slow response costs the most. From there, we're expanding to cover the full resident lifecycle: renewals, move-outs, inspections, vendor performance. The goal is a single operations layer that handles every routine coordination task so you can focus on the decisions that actually move the business.
